
Marc Wish, MD FACC
Dr. Wish joined Arrhythmia Associates in 1993. He graduated summa cum laude from Boston University where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He completed his medical training at Boston University as part of the prestigious six-year medical program. Dr. Wish completed his internal medicine training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering/North Shore University and then completed his cardiology fellowship at Georgetown University. After completing his training, Dr. Wish served as director of the CCU at the Washington, DC VA Hospital. He held the rank of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital.
Dr. Wish is a nationally recognized expert in cardiac electrophysiology and for several years, lectured on the topic of optimization of atrio-ventricular timing in pacemaker patients at the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology annual congress. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Dr. Wish authored 20 papers and textbook chapters as well as over 30 abstracts in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Wish remains a leader in our field. He is expert in all areas of adult cardiac electrophysiology as well as having special expertise in laser lead extraction and atrial fibrillation ablation. Currently, Dr. Wish is Chief of Cardiology at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Wish is an avid runner. He and his wife Amy have 2 children.
